Excursions&tours

This is what you cannot miss in your visit to Barcelona:

-Las Ramblas are, without a shadow of a doubt, the main tourist attraction in Barcelona. First thing in the morning is the only moment when you can avoid the crowds on this large pedestrian walkway.
La Rambla is always bustling with colour and life due to the innumerable street entertainers, street cafes and restaurants. On Las Ramblas we can find many grand and beautiful buildings amongst others one of the most emblematic buildings of the city, the Gran Teatro del Liceu, (Theatre and Opera House).
You also can lose yourself in the maze of alleys in the Gothic Quarter, hidden from the hubbub of other parts of the city. Don't forget to visit the small bookshops and antique sellers in this quarter.

-Close to the Gothic quarter we reach the neighborhood of La Ribera, better known as El Borne and where the Feel Good Apartments are situated, a characteristic point for Barcelona, with reference to it's architecture. It is a must to walk down Montcada street and the Picasso Museum and then a visit to the Santa Maria del Mar church, before reaching the Palau de la Música Catalana, one of the jewels of the architecture of Barcelona. The quarter also houses some of the most fashionable designer shops in Barcelona such as Custo Line.
You can have a nice meal on any of the street Tapas bars in the El Borne.

- The Eixample district and 'el Paseo de Gràcia', the epicentre for both commerce and modernism in Barcelona. This commercial district together with the Diagonal Avenue and Rambla de Catalunya, represent the most “chic” shopping area in Barcelona.
Don't forget to visit the Plaza Catalunya, the city's nerve centre where you can have a coffee in the famous Zurich bar, and from where begin many other interesting tourist routes such as Calle Pelayo, Portal d l'angel, Portaferrisa and their side streets.

-“Gaudí and Modernism” route from La Pedrera, right on the Paseo de Gràcia, The trip through the architectural universe of Gaudí is completed with a walk around the La Manzana de la Discordia (The district of Discord: The Casa Batlló, The Casa Lleó Morera and the Casa Amatller.
The temple of Sagrada Família, the symbol which Gaudí designed to represent Barcelona and of which the Catalans are so proud.
The Parc Güell, a garden city built by the famous architect which reflects the excellence of his work and which offers the visitor one of the most exceptional views of the city. This is one of the less typical but most recommended visits in the city.

-Montjuic with it’s attractive Olympic Stadium and village, and the National Art Gallery of Catalunya which houses an enormous collection of medieval art dating from Roman and Gothic periods.

-Following the artistic flavor, we also advise you to visit Fundación Joan Miró, which holds the best works of this world renowned catalan artist.

-El Pueblo Español, a recreation on a small scale of buildings from all over Spain. It also holds many craft shops, bars and restaurants. At night this place comes to life due to some of the best clubs for house and dance music.

-The Magic Fountain of Montjuic, where musical spectacles are held, illuminating the whole side of the mountain.

-For football lovers, we suggest you head towards Camp Nou, one of the most important football stadiums in Europe which also holds the FC Barcelona Museum, reliving and immortalizing the best moments of the club’s history. Here you can also buy Barça souvenirs for your friends.

-The night is still young and there's still a lot of city to experience. There are many choices for a good meal and then to go for a drink in pleasant surroundings: Gothic Quarter, El Borne... We suggest a stroll by the Port Olímpic accompanied by the 2 giants of Barcelona the hotel Arts and the Mapfre Tower. It's the perfect moment and the right place for a romantic meal and to take the first drink as a prologue for a great night out on the town. And don't forget a toast to return soon to this city.

We also recommend you some excursions outside Barcelona: Montserrat, Sitges, Cadaqués, Cardona, Costa Brava, Andorra and The Pyrenees.
